Our first ever corporate luncheon took place on Friday last and was a resounding success, great guests speakers, good food and it was all topped off by entertainment by Dave Young. A big thank you goes out to Ronan Farrell and his team for organising what we hope will be an annual event and to all who attended and supported the club.

Our U13 div 1 had a good win away to Good Counsel on Thursday last,a great game to watch, both teams gave fantastic performances.

Minor D Championship Raheny lost away to a stronger clontarf side.
Our senior hurlers played in the semi final of the the intermediate hurling championship but unfortunately it was not their day. Raheny 1-14 v 3-17 Peregrines.

Our Junior C hurlers had a great game v Liffey Gaels on Sunday and are now through to the Championship Final, well done lads.

Our Senior 6 Camogie team
got their Championship off to a great start with a decisive 2-7 to 0-1 against Erins Isle.  With several great Points from both Emma Kavanagh and Aoife Stack, we got the best start and just before half time Orla Dooley found the back of the net for our first goal.  The girls started the second half the same way with more points from Aoife and Emma.  One of our best moves passed the ball from several players up the field to Hazel Mullen who found the back of the net for our second goal.  Outstanding play from our backs prevented Isles finding the back of our net and prevented any scores from play their only point coming from a 45. Well done to all for a great team performance.

Next event up is our Strictly Coming Dancing, tickets for the show will be available shortly, promises to be a great nights entertainment....who's dancing!!! wait and see.

We had 94 children down to our Ogra on Saturday,
thank you to all who helped out.  We still need volunteers for fruit chopping and coaching (training will be given). Transition Year students are needed on Saturday morning from 9.40. Parents if possible bring your children down at 9.50 to register so we can start coaching at 10am sharp.

Our Senior Football team are playing Lucan in championship match on 17/9 at 19.30 in Balgriffin, 16th man always welcome.

20/9 AFL4 Raheny are playing away to good Counsel at 17.30 and nice and early on Sunday morning we have  AFL7 Raheny v star of erin at 10.30 and our Senior Camogie 1 are playing at 11am away to St Vincents. Plenty to choose from, please support well.
