Our Ogra WILL start back this Saturday the 16th January at 10am.
We're always looking for volunteers to assist with coaching, admin/registration, and preparation of the fresh fruit (on Saturdays). Absolutely no experience is required for any of the roles. If any parents/coaches are available to assist on either Friday nights or Saturday mornings from January to June, please contact Seamus Dunne or Tom Reynolds at the following email addresses: seamusdunne309@gmail.com; tpreynolds@gmail.com.

Our Club shop will be re opened on Saturday morning from 10-12.

Just after Christmas an old tradition was resurrected....and renamed as it use to be "Married v Singles" but now its "over 35's v under 35's" and age and maturity and experience won out this year. Below are some pictures from the match. Who is up for it next year... could be get a double headed with Hurling as well or maybe the girls would like to try their hand at it. Can you guess which team is which ?????

RAHENY 7'S
The first night of the Raheny 7’s tournament took place on Friday night. There was a great turnout with over 60 players across 8 teams participating. Each team played two matches on the night. Neil Curley’s Meath team with Real Ruttheson as captain were expected to start off with a win but were well beaten 6-31 to 5-16 by a strong Dublin team with Darragh Pelly as Captain. The Dublin team also had a comfortable win against the Conor Talty led Kerry team by 8-26 to 6-19. The biggest cheer of the night was for Dublin’s Matt Collins who scored a top class fisted goal against Kerry.

We had a very close game between Chisler’s Donegal and Blondie’s Kildare, which after a recount by the referee resulted in a narrow two point win for Donegal 7-33 to 10-22. Donegal, who were missing captain Gavin Ivory due to illness, managed to benefit from the late addition to their team of Stuart O’Neill and Paul McCabe.
The Cork team were boosted by the late appointment of Tom O’Reilly as manger and sit on top of the group with 2 wins. The Cork captain Rob Donnelly, who managed to get some late additions to his team including Gavin Murray and Donal Ryan, played extremely well in goals and made some incredible reflex saves to keep his team in some tight matches.Eric Mullen for Cork who is not normally noted for his goal scoring managed to bag a hat trick on the night.
Sean Swords making his managerial debut for the Galway team was very quick to adjust the teams style of play and while they lost their first match by two points to a Stephen Swords led Mayo team they managed to comfortably beat Donegal in their second match.
With only Dublin and Cork with maximum points after two games next week should be really interesting to see who qualifies into the Cup semi finals. Anyone interested in playing or helping on Friday 15th and 22nd Jan please text Ciaran McNally on 087 6357144.
