Club Notes 16th June 2014

There was great excitement in the club on Sunday Night when one of our Heros Siobhan Woods (captain) came back with all her U21 team mates to the Club to celebrate winning the All Ireland U21 ladies football Final.

Congratulations to the whole team.

A big thank to all who came out to welcome the All Ireland Champions back to the club. Siobhan has been fantastic in supporting the younger teams and they were out in full force to support her last night.

Well done to Dotsy and the Dublin senior hurlers who beat Wexford at the weekend.

Members please remember that children are not allowed out on the balcony at any time and also are not allowed in the gym area.

Next Saturday is the last Saturday of the Ogra for the summer, and we are gonna celebrate in style, form 12-3 we have 98Fms BIG RED Bus and the thunders coming out to celebrate with us. From 3-6 we will have crossbar challenge, music and a BBQ, at 6.30 we are looking for everyone to pack our sideline for AHL2 v Whitehall on pitch 9, then back to the for live music. On the 5th July we will have a cardio check unit coming our to the club. Anyone interested in getting checked out throughly please contact PRO on 086-2909022. Costs and details will be posted in the club and on the we site early next week.

Well done to our AFL1 who had a win over Kilmacud Crokes (a mention to Paddy Reid who got man of the match his interview can be see on grassrootsgaa) but lost to Ballymum kickhams on Wednesday reports on both matches can be got on,

AFL4 gave a walkover to Ballymun on Wednesday but had a win over Plunkets on saturday.

AFL7 lost to Bank of Ireland and Ballymum Kickhams this week.

Best of luck to all the girls who are heading up to Derry to represent Dublin in the  National Feile 2014. We are all very proud of you and hope you have a weekend you will remember forever.

Thank to the mentors of U13 who organised a great trip to St Martins GAA in Wexford, a fantastic time was had by all and thank you to St Martins GAA for looking after the group so well.
