Club Notes 1st November 2017

Hard luck to our Hurlers on Wednesday evening in the Leinster Hurling Championship Qualifier, Raheny battled hard against a strong Thomas Davis side, losing by a point in extra time.

Two big wins for the club on Sunday our Senior footballers are through to the county final having beaten Fingal Ravens and are set to meet Ballyboden in the Final, and our AFL5 are no more after a narrow win over Na Fianna they have been promoted to AFL4, well done to the players and mentors and thanks to the ever present 16thman.
 
 






Our U16B ladies had a loss in their final on Wednesday night 

and our Senior Ladies put up a tough fight for promotion v SCoil Ui Chonaill but were pipped at the post.




Thank you to our U7 footballers who provided the interval match for the seniors semi-final.  


Congratulations to our Brian Fenton on his all star nomination for 2017.


Well done to our Minor Ladies who had a win in the the Shield Final against St Annes (6:10 to 6:4)...more silverware for the club.

SAVE THE DATE - The Raheny all stars are holding a pub quiz on Thursday 16th November in the club lounge, more details to follow.




OGRA IS ON THIS SATURDAY AND NEXT, WE DECIDED NOT TO TAKE A BREAK FOR THE MID TERM.


Club Shop :- Club Shop is now open every Saturday from 9.30am - 12.

Do you know our club shop is now online, you can order and pay online and collect behind the bar.

Our All stars are back in full force on Friday evening at 5pm on Club Astro. 















GAA4mas is on every Sunday on Club Astro from 8-9pm. Interested in taking part contact Ide Mulcahy on 086-3806454.









House Keeping

Coaches/Mentors please be aware that it is your responsibility to make sure that our pitches are left clean after matches, that includes rubbish left by visiting teams, please bring a rubbish bag pitch side. This last weekend we had cable ties discarded on pitch 10 and between pitch 9 and 10, 24 plastic drink bottles, a bag of bloodied tissues, mouth guard, tape basically a full refuse bag of rubbish, Thank you to the U14 girls who helped clean up.
And please be mindful when playing matches away not to leave your rubbish behind, this is common courtesy.


The Club Hall is available for hire for parties, 

 

If you wish to book either the hall or the Hill for communion/confirmations please do so before 15/10 contact Tommy on 086-160009.
