Club Notes 22/02/10

A.G.M takes place on March 29th. All nominations/motions must be submitted in writing, signed and seconded, to an Runai no later than March 7th. Anybody interested in going forward for an Officer or Executive Committee position, nows the time to ouyour name forward.

Membership fees now long overdue. All members are asked to pay outstanding 2010 renewal fees immediately. Your club needs the funds to pay your insurance renewals, league affiliation fees etc.

NO PLAYER WILL BE ALLOWED TO PLAY FOR THE CLUB PAST 15TH MARCH WHO HAS NOT PAID 2010 MEMBERSHIP FEE. THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED THIS YEAR.

The new sports floor for GYM will be fitted next week and GYM / Extension will be fitted out thereafter, ready for use towards end of March. Team Kit rooms are being fitted out with new steel storage units, 1st batch arriving this week. New Flatscreen TV's and Music system ready for delivery and installation shortly.

Congratulations to Andrew Dowling and Jenny Farrell on their recent engagement.

Good start for Senior footballers with a convincing win over Erins Isle and our Junior Footballers with a big win over St Joesphs/OCB and for Senior hurlers kicked off with victory over Naomh Olaf. U14 boys made it 2 wins from 3 league games. U12A lost to Oliver Plunketts, U12B beat St Brigids. Minor footballers were due to start 2010 league campaign, games were off due to snow on Sunday morning.

Adults flying start to year and great numbers turning up for training.

Pitches are still soft, please carry out fitness drills / warm ups etc OFF and to side of pitches.

Pitch Committee back in action this weekend, they will mark as many pitches as they can and new nets have been purchased for No's 9 and 29. Thanks to Niall Dunne, Brian Kavanagh for arranging same.

Senior Footballers start their league campaign this Sunday with a home game on Pitch No. 9 VKilmacud Crokes at 11am. All Support Welcome. Best of luck to players and the new management team.

All players are asked to remove boots outside the clubhouse.

Male players are asked to use the rere door to access dressing rooms.

Ladies GAAS Craic club are meeting this Thursday 8:30pm and have planned a BINGO evening, with a twist

OPEN MIC NITE this Friday in club lounge, slots for anyone to get up and give a tune. Food too. Thanks to Roisin Morgan and Social Committee for kick starting this monthly social event.

Table Quiz on Thurs March 4th to support U13 and U14 f/blrs. Its Feile time so come along and contribute.

HERTFORDSHIRE U15 GAA Development squad are visiting the club 9-11th April to stay the weekend and play v our U15 CCC2 Footballers
