Athbhliain faoi shean is faoi mhaise roimh cach. A peaceful and prosperous New Year to one and all and particularily members and friends overseas.

Minor footballers play St.Vincents in Minor B c/ship final-date and venue tba. U21 footballerstraining hard, their C'Ship s/f is due to be played next week.

Last years U16s have a spare set of Jerseys to be handed back/over, in perfect condition, maroon, long sleeves, goalies Yellow and 2-24 Maroon, interested, call Paul Dempsey.

1st time in clubs history that 4 Adult football teams will be entered in leagues, well done to all involved in keeping the production line flowing. Special thoughts with Jarlath Finnegan R.I.P who laboured long and hard over the years to ensure his age group had 2 teams, the benefits are now being seen as 25+ minors progress into the adult AFL section this season alone.

Many thanks to Tom O'Reilly, AFL1 Manager for the last 4 seasons, who has stepped down. Tom has given the best part of 20 years to managing / mentoring with Raheny GAA AFL teams. Well done Tom, you have left the AFL1 team in a much improved position than when you started.

AFL 2010: Club will be entering 4 AFL teams, 1 U21 and 2 MINOR Football teams. Management teams are in place for all these teams, with the exception of a Manager for AFL5, anybody interested?

AHL 2010: Club will be entering 3 AHL teams, 1U21 and 1 MINOR Hurling teams. Anybody interested in helping out? Please contact Kevin Broderick or Gene Russell.

GARDA VETTING: Any mentors with GAA letters of approval are asked to copy these letters into Greg in the club asap.

SOCIAL COMMITTEE for 2010 is coming together, if you can help out or give an hour or two per month, please contact Tommy Hogan.

Well done to Rob Donnelly,Sean Swords and Eoin Delaney on their Dublin Northside selection and to David Henry on his Blue Star award. Well done to the 6 Raheny Minor Lads currently training with Val Andrews Dublin Minor Football team for 2010 Championship.

St.Annes pitches off until mid Jan. No training on our pitches please. Drills off pitch.

21st birthday greetings to Claire Fitzgerald. Club shop reopens in tandem with school holidays..Congratulations to Cian Daly on his recent marriage.

Deepest sympathy to Alan and the Breen family following their recent sad loss.
