Club Notes 6th November 2017

posted Nov 6, 2017, 10:47 AM by Ger McGloin   [ updated Nov 6, 2017, 10:55 AM ]

The very best of luck to our former GPO Dotsy O Callahan in his retirement from Dublin Hurling, he was a great addition to our Club.

Hard luck to our Senior Footballers in their bid for promotion on Sunday morning v Naomh Olaf.

Our Senior Hurlers are playing in Abbotstown again this Wednesday v Faughs at 7.30, all support welcome.

Raheny Minor Camogie team started strong with a slight breeze at their backs and shooting into the sun.  A few great scores from Anna Murphy and Lauren Robinson saw Raheny with a healthy lead at the half time break 04-04 to 01-02.  Naomh Barrog started well in the second half, but an inspirational score from Rahenys Carragh Downey brought the girls back to life.  An overall great performance, with a finishing score of 6-10 to 2-08.  Raheny will play Erins Isle at home next Sunday and would welcome your support.

Minor Hurlers lost in their Semi-final to a strong Plunketts side. Raheny 01-06 to 02-13 Oliver Plunketts.

Our U16 Hurlers had a great win on Saturday in their Shield Final well done lads.
