U13 Girls Trip to Ballyhaunis

Our U13 girls took the train to support the Dublin footballers in Castlebar and a big thank you goes out to the members of  Ballyhaunis GAA for their fabulous hospitality.

Pictures of Conor Lee and John Higgins presenting club jerseys.

From our Camogie ladies and mentors.

Thursday night was a great night for the Adult Camogie section when they held their Annual table quiz- a huge turnout of support with a full hall with numerous sponsored spot prizes. The club would like to thank all the local businesses who gave prizes on the night- McNamara's Pharmacy, Lloyds Pharmacy, Tully's Pharmacy, Smyth Butchers, The Watermill and Supervalu .
But the biggest shout must go out to Brian Savage and 4 star pizza - our main sponsors-who are providing the funds to cover new training equipment for the 2016 season - their huge support over last 2 years has been greatly appreciated.
The girls continue to work hard on their conditioning with Tony Lawless in readiness of the start of the Minor league and Dublin cup competitions at the end of February. We have also entered the Leinster League to maximise game time for all the girls - we have over 55 players registered this year.

Congratulations to our very own Ciara McDunphy who lined out at #15 yesterday for the Dublin Minors win against Laois scoring 1-3. Full Match report available http://www.dublinladiesgaelic.ie/news/372396/Match_report_MFC_Dublin_v_Laois

This is an opportunity for Clubs to learn about just some of the massive amounts of work taking place on your behalf within the Association.

Whether it’s receiving a rallying call for every club in Ireland to come to Croke Park in April to commemorate 1916, or learn about Concussion and other Health and Well Being issues – we have the relevant information here.

There is also an update on a dedicated Club Officer training programme coming to a location near you soon, a breakdown on where the Euro you spend supporting Gaelic games is used in driving the GAA, along with a blog from An Uachtarán, the club passions of Kerry’s David Moran, the unique club crest with a link to Phileas Fogg and much more.
