posted Jun 13, 2014, 12:00 PM by Kevin Brassil

Best of luck to Dotsy and the Dublin Senior Hurlers who play Wexford on Saturday.

Big day in the Club next Saturday 21st, This is the last day of the OGRA and to mark the occasion we have the thunders coming out to us again, they will be arriving at 12 and pumping out the music, they are bringing face painters, giant games and a slushy machine. We will have the BBQ fired up and going all day, hot dogs galore, this will be a day long event and hopefully we will get the weather to match the celebrations.

Thunders with big RED will be in the club from 12-3 with loads for the kids to do.
Cross bar challenge and fun of the fair on the astro 3-6

Senior Hurling Champion match will be on pitch 9, for anyone who want to see our lads in full flight.
8pm onwards Music in the lounge and Hotdogs on the BBQ.

On the 5th July we will have a cardio check unit coming our to the club. Anyone interested in getting checked out throughly please contact PRO on 086-2909022. Costs and details will be posted in the club and on the we site early next week.

Our dates for the 3 summer camps all fall in July, full details  and applications available on our website

Congratulations to our three feeder schools
who all reached finals in Croke Park this week. On Monday Scoil Aine came away with their first ever win, a team that was completely made up of our members got to lift the cup.  This was the third time for Scoil Aine in the final and also only the third time in the competition. Thank you to the teachers for giving up their free time for coaching and the parents for transporting the players and not forget the Raheny Mentors who have invested years in these girls. Well done to all.

The boys played their final on Tuesday but their could only be one winner as both our feeder schools were against each other in the final.  The match was very close right up until the end, it could have been either teams victory but in the end St Brigids Killester were victorius.  Again thank you to the teachers, parents and mentors for all their hard work.

Congratulations to Siobhan Woods (captain)
and the Dublin U21 ladies footballers on another win this time over the rebels in the Aisling McGing All-Ireland football semi final.

Well done to the Dubs Senior football team on a win over Laois.

The 16th man was present on Wednesday night supporting the senior team but it was not enough, Ballymum Kickams were the better team in the end.
AFL4 gave Ballymum a walk over, apologies to anyone who went down to the pitch to support. The information was not shared with our social media.

AFL7 are away on Tuesday. AFL1 are also to Ballymum and AFL4 at home all three throw-ins at 19.30.

AFL10 play St Kevins/Killians away at 19.30 on thursday.

We'd like to wish a Happy 21st Birthday to Jack Dempsey,
who celebrated on Tuesday.
