Club Notes August 15th

Ticket applications for Dublin v Donegal SFC S/F & Dublin v Galway MFC S/F on Sunday 28th August must be submitted to clubhouse by Tuesday 16th August.  The matches will be shown live in the clubhouse, there will be a bar special on all pints & long necks @ €3 each from 3.30pm - 7pm. Followed by live music from Derek Nangle  

In their penultimate league game of the season, AHL6 side had a great win v St.Brigids. Outstanding displays from Tommy Hamill at centre back, Niall Sullivan[6pts] from mid-field and Ross Somers who bagged 2-4 from play. Welcome back to Jimmy Keogh[2pts] at corner forward. This team are having a great year,losing only 1 game so far and if they win last league game are guaranteed promotion. They also contest the C/ship Q/final and the lads much appreciate the huge support last Thurs.Well done to all involved.


Summer Camps have been a resounding success and the last one runs from Monday 22nd - Friday 27th Aug. Cost is 40 per child and caters for 4-12yr old boys and girls.  For bookings and further info, contact Niamh at 086-3001725. For registration form click here... 


Coaching progress reviews with Team Managers are underway across the club, the Coaching Committee will be in touch with managers over the next few weeks.


Congratulations to our own Eoghan Smyth and the Dublin Minor hurlers on a great win v Waterford, they play Galway in the MHC Final. Well done to a brave Dublin Senior side v All Ireland champions Tipperary, result 1-19 : 0-18 


Senior Camogie lost to Erins Isle last Tuesday and play Naomh Jude this Tuesday, away. Inters had a good c/ship q/final win last Thurs. The new website is ready for Camogie updates. Any updates, match reports, photographs or any other relevant information for the Camogie section can be sent to Kate Dunne at rahenygaacamogie@gmail.com. Kate will keep the website updated regularly to keep everyone up to date. 



AFL2 play St.Marks on Pitch 9 this Wednesday and St.Annes away next Sunday. AFL5 play Inisfails 12.00 Sun on Pitch 9 and AFL9 and AFL11 play St Colmcilles and St Brendans away. Well done also to 1st year Minor Footballer Robert Diffley who got a run with the Dublin U17 Development squad at the weekend in a Tournament in Rathoath v Roscommon, Wexford etc




Pitch 12A is going to be sprayed with WEEDKILLER and FERTILISER.  The pitch will be closed from Thursday 18th August morning 8:00am to Monday 22nd August morning 8:00am.  You can check the pitch allocations for updates click here ...
