Club Notes August 22nd by Daithi Brugha and Club P.R.O  pro.raheny.dublin@gaa.ie

With the new school pending, new juveniles are more than welcome, see link for details http://www.raheny.gaa.ie/news/team-announcements/newmemberswelcometojoinatstartofschoolyear

Pitch 12A was fertilised late last week, mentors, where possible are asked to stay off the centre and bad areas of the pitch until matches start up again.

A good show all round from the Adult Footballers, with all 4 teams winning. AFL2 had 2 good wins v St.Marks and St.Annes. AFL9 won v St.Colmcilles and AFL11 won v St.Brendans. Great displays from Gav Murray, Ciaran Murphy, Jimmy Keogh and Robert Diffley for AFL5 V Inisfails. We wish the injured Inisfail player a speedy recovery.

One of the best features on the new website is the LIVE links for all RAHENY fixtures and results which are taken live from Hill16, Ladies Football and Camogie website via Sportmanager. http://www.raheny.gaa.ie/information/fixtures

GAA and CAMOGIE August Newsletters are on now club website.

Senior Camogie had a welcome win v Naomh Jude and play Naomh Mearnog Tuesday night on Pitch 10. Support welcome. Inter camogie lost to Clanna Gael/Fontenoy in Cup s/final last week.

The last of the Summer Camps now up and running this week. Limited places still available and info from Niamh at 086-30001725. Camps cater for 4-12yr olds and we would like to thank Dave Geary, Niall Kelly, Paddy Peake and Kevin Welsh for their time and effort with the Summer Camps this year.

Well done to DUBS U21 hrlrs v Antrim. Hard luck to Dub ladies and our own Siobhan Woods v Cork. Best of luck to all our lads involved with Dub Minor and Senior teams next Sun.v Galway and Donegal.

Both games are live on TV in clubhouse and special offers available in bar from 3.30-7.00pm followed with live music. Put on your dancing shoes. See "Club Social Events" page for more information click here ...

Golf Society outing Sept.2nd in Clontarf GC, players and teams are asked to contact  Marius Herbert asap to book tee off times.

Newstalk FM will broadcast live from the clubhouse next Fri.26th 10-12pm and U12 F/blrs will receive coaching from a surprise GAA star.

Club will also be represented in Bank of Ireland Branch in Raheny next Thursday 25th as part of BOI National Youth Week.

Good luck to Dub U16 ladies in the All Ireland final. No news from U16 Hrlrs or U15 F/blrs-maybe mentors would post results in clubhouse or text Daithi at 087-6336237.
