Deepest sympathy is extended to the Heffernan family following their recent sad loss.
Ar dheis De go raibh a anam dilis. Thanks for all the joy, Heffo, we're still in your army.

The minor hurlers lost the championship semi-final v Thomas Davis. It simply wasn't our day. The floodlight match was played in driving winds at the foothills of the Dublin mountains. The sliothar moved fast on the synthetic grass and was evident that Thomas Davis were well used to the playing surface. With the aid of the wind T Davis scored 1-3 within five minutes. In the first half Thomas Davis were awarded eleven frees to Raheny's two. Again with the wind Thomas Davis executed the frees with precision. We had a "mountain" to climb in the second half and never really got out of base camp. However with the potential in the team I've no doubt that Raheny will get to the summit one day. We will loose significant players to the Junior and Senior panels such as our captain Liam O'Shea, the Dublin Minor hurler (2011 & 12) Eoghan Smyth, Lenny Tobin, Aidan Gaughan, Rob Diffley & Jake Grogan. We wish the lads the best of luck. For this year's minor hurlers we look forward to re-structuring the team for the upcoming league campaign. We would also like to thank the umpires Mick Harford and Colm Arthur for helping out. We would also like to thank all the parents who provided lifts and the die hard traveling supporters. The future for hurling in Raheny is bright.

Under 7 hurlers record two more wins at Gormanstown
Another great day on Sunday (27th) in the Gormanstown indoor hurling tournament for the new Under 7 team. Raheny A after taking an early lead were unlucky to come out the wrong side of a 4-2 game against Craobh Ciaran despite dominating for most of the game. Two well taken goals will give them plenty of heart for upcoming games. Raheny B had a great 1-0 win. They defended brilliantly after taking an early lead against Fingallians and were indebted to their keeper Luke Kelly who pulled off a brilliant save at the end. Raheny C maintained their 100% record with a fine 4-2 win. An early goal set them up for a comfortable win. Great displays from Ciaran Kerrisk, Tom Reddy, Tom Beary, Michael Clarke, Rian Prizeman, Dylan Strain, Adam Robinson, Jack Codd and Dan O Grady.  The under 7 squad continue training every Monday 6 - 7 football and hurling at the astro beside the Raheny clubhouse and on Saturday mornings at 10 at the club.

Coaching workshops now underway and details on website. Click here ...

GAA4MAs training on sundays only from 8-9. Thanks to Sarah Caulfield for giving up her spare time to train the team.  Some of them are now training with our Senior team.
