U9's
Faced up to a very strong, well organised Clontarf in football match on Alfie Byrne Astro on Saturday morning.
Clontarf won 2, we won one, of the 3 9 a side matches.
Best displays from Cillian Ryan, Stefan Twomey, Damien Mahon, Cormac Lenehan and Conor Ryan. Well done boys, keep your practice going at home every day.
Important - please remember gumshields for all football training and matches. Referees will not allow players to play if they do not wear gumshields.
Hurling training Tuesday 5.50 Alfie Byrne, Wednesday 5.50 Club Astro.

Minor Football.
Raheny 0-8 St Marys 1-3. First day out for minor football away to st Mary's. Great defensive show especially D.Harford & J.Collier, points from D.Reid & R.Lunney set us on our way to a well earned victory. Great team effort. Hard training is paying dividends. Keep it up lads, well done.

Parson Cup
On a lovely (busy) Sunday afternoon for football, the Junior a side entertained Erin go Bragh on pitch 9. The lads started brightly and played some quick moving football at times, they headed into the break 1-5 to 2-1 ahead. Our goal was a well worked effort, with Brian Malone putting his body on this line to get his fist to the ball before both the onrushing goalkeeper & full back.
The second half started off just as brightly with the lads tagging on further scores, if not to have the blacmark of two poorly conceded goals. The team however stuck to the task at hand, adding further points & a goal for debut boy Ciaran Mc. The goal coming from good work through defence & midfield.
Game was seen out however & the win secured with a scoreline of 2-11 to 3-3. Leaving the A’s with 2 wins & a walkover from the group stages of the competion. The semi finals being an obvious aim now.
Next game is away in AFL7 to St. Vincents next Sunday. All support would be welcome
