€40 for golf only if not having dinner

U9 Girls
The under nines girls team had a busy weekend and the weather matched the level of play from the girls, it was absolutely fantastic.
They started off on Saturday playing Na Fianna on their turf and came home with two fabulous wins.
On the Sunday they lined up against Saint Jude's from Templeogue and although the girls from Saint Judes played a strong physical game
the Raheny squad were not left lacking in response. The power some of the Raheny girls hit the Sliotar with on grounds strikes easily sent the ball the length of the ptich and kept saint judes under presaure for both matches.
Remember girls if you get a couple of minutes during the week pick up the hurl or football and get some practice in, it will really show at your next match.

U9 Match Report

Last Saturday we made the short trip across St Annes to play Clontarf.
Numbers were depleted again due to week 2 of the Holy Communion but as ever we had a great bunch of under 8 volunteers who brought our numbers up to 26. A special thanks to the under 8 parents who obliged us again.
The U8 boys played with our orange team and were unlucky to lose by a single point. Conor Lally had an excellent game and pulled off some great saves and Ryan Markham and Cathal Baldwin popped up with scores.
Our other two teams ran out comfortable winners of both their matches. The white team were helped by excellent puckouts in goal from Conor Ryan and a very hard-working Matthew Sherlock. John McNally who is still u8 scored 3 points on his weaker side, 2 from tight angles.
The green team had a great team performance as they played with 8 players against Clontarf's 9 for the whole match. Daniel Broderick was the star and was ably assisted by Ruairi Kelly.
Well done everybody, great efforts by all 3 teams.
Gaelic football training this week Tuesday and Wednesday. Texts confirming times and locations will go to parents.
A choice of two matches this Wednesday at 7.30 in St Annes.

AFL4 plays St Brigids on our home pitch of 9. All support much appreciated

AFL1 play O Tooles on pitch 7 (this is not our home pitch but close enough for it to be for our supporters)
Pitch 7 is located in St Annes near the pitch n putt and tennis courts. Please suppport well.
