A well deserved win by Raheny, the team showed committment and tenacity for the full 60 minutes. Towers went into an early lead and but for some missed frees and a great save by Peter Welsh, Raheny could have been in trouble.

A goal last in the 1st half, scored by Mick O'Keeffe, following a great movement involving Darragh Pelly and Sean Dempsey,  turned the match and with our defence and midgield on top, we controlled the game for most of the second half. Luke Dillon was again prominent scoring 4 points.

The team has now played 3 won 2 in this years AFL1 League, a good return ro SENIOR 1.
