well done to all players on fine performance to beat St Vincents' last night.

After the blitz series earlier in the year it was back to league action on 12a last night and Raheny played some great football to win the A match by 3.8 to 3.7 in a very evenly contested match. Raheny battled hard and defended well throughout the match and turned over some great ball due to fouls by the opposition. Best for Raheny were Daragh Kane who pulled off some superb saves in goal, Kevin Byrne, who was excellent thoughout and Sean Farrelly who played very well in the middle and scored a few points and Cian Ivers who was a constant threat up front.

The B team fought back well after a poor start to get a very good draw 7.7 to 7.7 and were unfortunate not to win. The back four got tight and limited further scores. Best for Raheny were Adam McDonnell and David McSharry in the middle, Stephen O Shea at the back, Conor Kelly with some powerful runs and solos and chicarito Declan McDermott up front.

well done to all who played so well.
