well done to all the under 11 footballers who played very well on Saturday last to defeat Castleknock overall by 3 points.

Pride of place goes to the ever improving B team who won by 6 points. Everyone played well and Dave reports that the teamwork and passing were very good and Raheny took some excellent scores. The defence worked hard to keep the opposition scores down. Man of the Match was David McSharry who worked very hard for his team and showed great skills. Patrick Kelly, Grace Harkin and Conor Kelly also stood out.

The A team played well to lead at half time but Castleknock came on strong after the break and won by 3 points. Raheny struggled to keep possession of the ball after the break and Castleknock kicked some nice scores. All the lads battled hard but it wasnt our day. Man of the match was Kevin Byrne who was excellent at the back and supported well by Tom Keogh, James Keane and Niall Walsh.
