Ógra returns on May 1st. Registration Closed - Thank You

The cost is €24 which covers from 1st May to 26th June (9 weeks). Please note - registration will now close on Thurs 22nd April at 1pm as we reach capacity.

Then we must arrange the children and the coaches into pods for contact tracing purposes.

See pitch layout for Ogra below. Please follow the instructions below on entry and queueing. Please remember to social distance. Children will be in the same group as previous week. If its a child's first time then on entry just ask mentor for their group.

Ógra runs subject to weather conditions. We send a text message to all registered parents in the event of a cancellation. We will also share any such details on our social media

With the advent of COVID, we have had to change our Ógra processes and procedures to cater for new health guidelines.

1. Ógra will run from Sat 1st May to June 26th. Please arrive by 9:45am. We finish at 11:00 sharp.

2. Ógra caters for school going children aged 4 to 6 years. (Born 2015 to 2017)

3. Ógra will be pre-registration only using link below. This is for contact tracing reasons. Children CANNOT just arrive on the morning of Ógra.

4. Children will be received by coaches and placed in pods of maximum 13. Parents should drop the children at their designated county and must then leave the astro pitch, where they should remain until the end of Ógra. If someone different is collecting your child, please advise the coach when dropping off. Remember to remain socially distanced.

For any issues relating to Ogra please contact or speak with Tom or Colly on the pitch

Volunteers are always welcome.

If interested, please complete the volunteer coach registration for
here and make yourself known to any of the mentors on arrival (the guys in high visibility bibs). We will assist with coaching basics. The club also runs coaching courses, if interested. All coaches must complete a Garda vetting application form.

Please note:
Children are not permitted on the astro pitch unsupervised.

Hi All,

My name is Colly McDonald, Raheny GAA's Games Promotions Officer. I'm providing links for an online foundation level GAA course as well as the online GAA Vetting link, for any new mentors/parents with an interest in volunteering and/or coaching.

On the entry requirements it will say if you do not have Safeguarding Level 1 done you're not able to do the foundation course. This is not Correct. By selecting NO when the form asks, you can continue to the foundation course. Then by selecting NO the Dublin County Board will have a record of who has not completed the safeguarding course and will organise a course at a later date.

This is a fantastic chance to get lots of new parents on board as coaches/mentors and also some of our current coaches certified, if not already. Once the online foundation course is complete I will then organise the practical end of the course in Raheny club house. Feel free to share the link with your parents/mentors/coaches.

Many thanks
